Stefen walked gracefully through the crowed streets of Britannia. He rubbed his moustache with interest, than brushed back his full head of hair. The west bank was just as busy as every other day. Merchants barking out their amazing sales, and the groups of idiotic dressed buyers.

Stefen watched two guards carry a man off down the street, his hands tied together. Another thief no skilful enough to steal on the streets of Britannia. It was often rumoured the thieves stuck to the feluccian skies more so than trammel, but every day there were thieves about. Some better than others, some just plain average.

A sparkle across the street caught Stefen’s eye. He carefully wandered towards the area, walking cautiously with his hands held together behind his back. His focus was set upon a merchant showing off his suit of armour -at least that’s what he wanted others to think. Stefen choose his footing carefully and walked past an interested buyer. His bright white clothing caused others to shield their eyes, but not Stefen. With a quick snap of the wrist his dagger slid out and pierced the strap of the pouch. Without noticing the bright white clothed man kept his attention on the merchant. With a swinging motion Stefen turned on his heel, his cloak following around behind him catching the pouch in the air. The cloak carried the pouch right into his hands as he continued walking the other direction.

Stefen made his way to the docks with his pocket full of gold coins from today’s stroll. He found the ship leaving for Buccaneers Den and quickly boarded. The boat ride was made as quickly as possible, the captain and his crew weren’t picky on looking around. Due the recent rumours of pirates swarming the seas, and Jhelom being looted recently, no one really wanted to be sailing long.

The ship coasted into the bay and was quickly tied off at the docks. Stefen strolled down the plank and flicked a gold coin to the tiller man, he nodded his thanks. He wandered around the island for a short while before making his way into the forest. His eyes darting back and forth making sure he wasn’t being followed. Approaching a tree Stefen looked over his shoulder once more, satisfied he was alone he reached parting a large bush and stepped forward.

Once he felt ground beneath his feet Stefen felt around for his torch. He grabbed hold of the piece of wood and with a sudden tap against the cave wall it ignited. Nodding to himself he made his way through the cave toward his camp. Everything was still intact, his bed roll, his barrel of food, and his locked chest. Stefen put the torch in a holder jammed into the wall. He walked over to the chest and bent down carefully, he quickly unlocked it and tossed in numerous handfuls of gold coins.

He locked the chest and walked over to a barrel full of water, next to the barrel of food. He began to dip his hands in the barrel and stopped. Reaching into his pockets Stefen quickly pulled out a dagger. He dragged it carefully across the top of his lip, shaving off the moustache. Finishing quickly he rinsed off the dagger and sheathed it on his right side. His left side contained another dagger, and resting comfortably concealed behind his doublet was his kryss.

Stefen reached down inside the barrel and cupped out water washing off his face. His disguise was worn off now and his face was once again cleanly shaved, and his two pigtails carefully unravelled down from his shorthair cut (he never really understood the magic‘s of his disguise kit). After washing his face Stefen reached around to his chest and pulled out a small book. He scribbled the name “Stefen” down than crossed it out. Above “Stefen” there was a long list of past used names by the thief. His disguise was extinguished and he returned to his primary self “Pharix Dacosta”.

Pharix walked over to the wall of the cave and extinguished his torch. The cave was suddenly pitch black, the way he liked it. Once he felt his way to his bedroll Pharix made himself comfortable. It was clearly the middle of the day, but he believed it better to sleep during the day and steal his more valuable objects during the night.
