Vaen sat atop an Umbra building, watching as the travellers walked by. Brianha recently learned of his encounter wtih Ceinwyn, but he didn't really care. "It got me what I wanted, an entrance into the Order." He didn't care, right? "No... I love Brianha... NO! No.... I care not for her... She will only drag me down... I used Ceinwyn... why did I use... someone... For power. For power, I used her to gain entrance into the Order. But that's wrong... wrong... don't use people... don't.... But why not, you get what you need... no... it's wrong... I love Brianha... she is my fiancee... I will marry her and start a family... NO.... a family will drag me down, I don't need that... she will only drag me down, she will drag US down..." Vaen froze a moment, his eyes showing great confusion.

"...us?" There was no thought to be had in his head. He glanced around. There was nothing left in his mind, no conflict. He looked around, feeling himself for a small moment, he knew he had to do something while he felt himself. At that, he immediately recalled out of Umbra, and set forth onward.
