Trinsic Regatta


The Trinsic Council of Honor is pleased to announce the Trinsic Regatta, to be held next Sunday (November 6, 2005) at 3 PM. The race will start at the Paladin’s Library in Trinsic (97 – 22 S, 47 – 48 E).

Those who wish to participate in the ship race should show up no later than 3 PM with their ship dry-docked. Entrance to the race will cost 8k, which should be brought in check form.

The Grand Prize for the race is a Ghost Ship Anchor!!! Other prizes will be announced at race time.

Those racing will line their ships up in the water, but will begin on land. When the race starts, they will recall (or sacred journey) to their ships and begin the race. They will all be given the first set of coordinates in the race course at that time.

Contestants will then sail to the first coordinates where they will have to go ashore and get the next set of coordinates in book form from a race official who will be waiting there. This will continue through a series of coordinates until the completion of the course. At the completion of the race, contestants must have ALL of the coordinate books in their possession or they will be disqualified.

An awards ceremony and banquet will be held shortly after the completion of the race. Gates will be provided to the location of this ceremony.
