|
After hearing the news from his nephew Jeren Yendorin; Ashford immediately went to his desk and began another letter to post on public venues across Yew. His concern was related to his own discomfort and his ever enduring task and love of life to establish peace no matter the cost, but considering as well in which what might come from such goal.
To the citizens of Yew,
I am writing in regards to those that still reside in these lands. I have sought all of you to come forward and establish yourselves so we might begin to reforge a lively community. I can not stress the importance of this as I am concerned with the future of these lands. I pray that the principles of man have strived and that in the absence we have not returned to disconnection or worse evil flooding this region.
As a solution, short term or long term we must come together and establish a treasury, moral and well-being, and of course defenses if the worst has taken place. I am not suggesting or demanding the lead be taken by this old man, but simply to the able and willing to build a posterity for our future. I will offer my assistance in any way and wish for the hope and futures of a proud community in Yew.
May peace be among you,
Ashford Yendorin _________________ " Diplomacy & Virtues can work together when both our used wisely. " |
