While watching in Zento provides the man in black decides to send a letter to Master Tai....

Master Tai,

I see you have been called to body which I have left for all samurai to see . It is good to see you out in public , I will make sure when you feel my blade and look upon my face it will be the last thing you see. The man nailed to the pentagram is John LeVee. He was a messenger with the Umbra Messenger Service. you will learn nothing from thoses scraps you pulled from his body. You will see me in the coming days , but before you do you will see my handy work the bank there at Zento will be filled with the corpses of those who are close to you and those who you call friends . Know this now you and your family are not safe . I will hunt each of you down and slaughter you like the vermin you are. The letter you touched is a marker , I see your every move now . When you least expect it I will come to you with my blade put away and when you turn your back to me i will draw it and place it through your ribs and your blood will run out both sides and the floors of your own home will turn red , before they are set a blaze. Your time is short say goodbye to those closest to you . for you shall see them when you cross to ther side.

As Tai walked up the steps of the Garden to go to his office there, he saw a stranger in a black shroud nail a message to the front steps. As he turned to approach him, the man chanted something and disappeared.

Tai looked down at the letter. He turned and went and retrieved Hugh Kinley to read the letter to him.

After Hugh realized the letter now marked him, he did much cursing.

Tai said, "Hugh-san our children must be kept safe."

"Tai ye wee bloody bastard, now I got some nut followin' me when I am just oot tryin' ta' get a few drinks o' five."

"Hugh-san, how many times have I ever let you down in guarding you."

"Well lad, tha' is no tha' point, I dinna want this ta' be tha' first time."

"Okay I want you to hunch down and dress like me and take these sheep dressed like the children for a walk through Zento."

Rryn arrived at the Garden Freehold, carrying a basket containing the small kimono's of the children, not quite sure why Tai had asked her to secure such items for him.
She could not fanthom what he had planned now as the children were safely secured at the Safe house and had been for several days. Riff-Raff was with them now and creating only the Gods knew what to amuse them. Upon her last visit she had found the girls hanging from the ceiling in strange clothing that seemed to hold them to the walls. Taichi had been chasing down Riff-san in a makeshift buggy of sorts. With his many new contraptions for the children, it was any wonder the safe house had not fallen to the ground under Taichi's exuberance. They were now nanny-less from the last "toy" Riff-san had given Taichi. After Hugh-san had seen to the nanny's health , she had stormed out stating she would not be returning to such madness. With the recent threats upon her family, she had to agree with the now long gone nanny, madness was the most apt term for this situation.
Upon walking into the stables, she stopped short, jaw-dropped, at the sight that greeted her. Madness had just jumped straight into lunacy.
From the disgruntaled look of agony on Hugh's face to the serious look of her husbands face, she could see that there had obviously been another threat of some sort. In their infinite wisdom, as usual, the men had hatched a scheme. Unable to hold back any longer, she burst out in giggles, before quickly covering her mouth trying to cover her laughter. Poor Hugh stood there in clothing much to small for him, resembling, of all things, her husbands attire. Next to him stood three sheep, their makeshift kasa's with hay and horse tail hair falling about the rims, as if wearing wigs. She could only shake her head, biting her lip to keep from bursting out again, as she handed the basket to Tai.
Later , as they retired to the tavern to talk, Hugh took out and explained the letter they had received. As she reached for it to read it, Tai hollered out for her not to touch the letter. He explained that it would mark her for this beast to follow her and find her. Hugh quickly threw the letter into the fireplace stating it would be safest if none could touch it accidently.

Meanwhile in the stables, three recently bathed and shaved small sheep stood bewildered wondering why they were dressed in kimono's.....
