Once again, there he stood, waiting. Waiting for the wagon that would take him out of the lands and to other worlds. It was foggy outside, very humid, the type of morning where you would want to stay indoors and sleep in. Again, all life remained in slumber, stirring in its own comforts. Dan had made it back to where he had been waiting in the first place, by Sanctus road. It was hard to see the sun through the thick cloudy surroundings, but what he could see what the shadowy image of the caravan coming down the road towards where he stood.

Before long, it came up to him and stopped in front of him. It consisted of two horses and a man in studded leather armor. He wore a black hooded cloak and a casual attire of shadow. Overall, the uniform looked quite familiar until Dan could finally put his finger on what he pondered what it could be.

"...a praetorian guard?" he asked the man as he climbed up into the wagon. The man smiled, and lifted his hood so that Dan could see his face. The driver of the caravan, he then realize, was Brodieman, the very man who found him from the streets and began his lifetime in the realm. It was he who found Dan on the streets of Skara Brae and introduced to a whole new world of an independent career as a fencer. He had known Brodieman to have been the one behind the scenes of having Velvet rescueing him from the brigands to have her bring him to her guild.

Brodieman only smiled back at his comment, and nodded his head in silence. Feeling more comfortable, Dan unpacked what left he had no donated onto the wagon, and chuckled to himself as the wagon set off for the horizon.

Dan's time in the realms of Britannia had come to an end, and a new dawn of adventure was ahead of him for wherever he might turn up next. If he was to be remembered or not made no difference to him, for he had found happiness with the folk and that is all he knew he could ask for from them...
