Greetings from the Council of Sanctus,

Tis with regret we must inform you that the Order of Ebon Skull has encroached close enough to Sanctus it has made claim to the eastern cavern that borders the old orc fort.

A Sanctus patrol investigating complaints about orcs harassing caravans stumbled upon a Skull blessing ritual which involved a human sacrifice. The leader of the Skulls was a Lich Lord who was referred to as "Norture" by a minion. No conflict between Sanctus forces and the heathen undead took place. However, it was made clear that the encroachment stopped at the cave and if any Sanctus citizen is harmed they shall feel our might.

It disheartens us in Sanctus that this darkness has spread so far from the lands of Caina. It serves as a reminder if the light of virtues is not strong darkness shall creep in at every opportunity. It behooves us to work closely together to stop any further spread of this vile disease. This is a disease that must not spread and it will, by the gods, be turned back by the forces of light.

Sanctus has grown and regained much of its former might--however, allies and friends only strengthen us since we are all but one force in the light of the virtues.
