Sleep my dear. Rest until I come back for you and talk to no one else

These were the words he left her with, she noded slowly in acceptance and Bailos disappeared in a wisp of magic.

His destination? The home of Mardoth, the Ancient Necromancer, an ageless tenant of Umbra and now nothing more than a resource to be exploited by the Order. No words were exchanged between the two as Bailos calmly, patiently closed the gab between the pair. Mardoth turns from his table where he was fast at work and holds up a small vial. The vessal, although probably made from glass, was tinted with a deep green; the results of the herbal 'remedy' it held within. Nothing more than a bulbous orb with a capped spout on the top, it was simple yet adequate. As he finally reached the withered necromancer, Bailos tenderly cupped his hands and held the concoction, nodded a bit uncomfortably, then disappeared as suddenly as he had arrived.

No revolution comes without the spilling of blood...this one will be no different

He flew through the nether, arriving at his destination and appearing before the foot of Sadira's bed. "Close your eyes, my dear and listen carefully." Rounding the bed and at Sadira's side now, he grabbed a cup that had been left from some meal, checked it to make sure it was empty, and set it back down.

Unceremoniously uncorking the vial, he poured the insidious liquid in the cup. Leaning down, he hovered over Sadira's face and spoke decisively, relaying his instructions to her malleable mind.

When I leave, you will not remember I was here, but hold tight my instructions. Later tonight, I will see to it that Zarlox finds his way to you. When he comes, you will drink what is in the cup beside you, before he gets into the room.

You will jump up to greet him, and profess a new found love for him. Tell him you "are free of my will. Tired, but free".

Speak with him, tell him what he wants to hear, but mention nothing of my instructions, and nothing of whats in this cup. Then you will close your eyes in his arms, and go to sleep. The rest, I will take care of.

Opening her eyes, as if right on queue, Sadira looked up at him and nodded, her brow still beading with sweat from the heavy dose of the potion, and the resultant fever. Gathering her strength, she sat up in bed and watched him walk to the door.

He thought to himself...My poor, sweet, Sadira. Revolutions have their martrys, and you, are their's. You will die, in the arms of your lover. His heart will crumble, and your thorn in my side, will be gone.

Closing the door behind him, with an obvious slam...Sadira blinked once, and began her wait.

Sadira had went outside looking to find Zarlox or someone. She saw Aerie and called for her. The potion and its overdosing was making her weaker.

"Go get Zarlox."

She told Aerie in a weak voice. Aerie nodded shyly and went her way. Sadira tried to make it back to her bed, but was unable to before Zarlox showed up. Once her eyes rested upon him, she smiled.

"Oh love, I am free. My mind is my own. Now my heart speaks the words and my mind agrees. Tis you that I love."

Zarlox gaze showed that he was uncertain about her words, but agreed with her nonetheless. His eyes diverted to the bracelet that she still wore.

"You need your rest dear."

He said, as she agreed with him.

"I will go in if you help me."

Together hand in hand with a supporting arm about her, they went inside and to her chambers. There she crawled into bed, and moved giving him room to crawl in as well. There they talked and cuddled after he saw to it she had a cool cloth about her forehead. Suddenly a sharp pain that radiated across her whole abdomen took her breath away. Zarlox looks of concern and fear came just as quickly as her pain did. He moved in holding her tight. His words and touch he tried comforting her to soothe away her pain. She felt herself slipping it seemed from his touch, yet she could still feel it. The last words she heard was that he was there for her. It was then her squirming from the pain ceased. He laid her back, noting the sudden change. He called out her name, as he looked and listened to see if she was still breathing. Her breathing was shallow..but she opened her eyes and they transfixed upon the man who had her heart. She smiled, and took in her last breath. Her eyes closed as her head fell to the side. The bracelet began to glow a hue of dark red, before turning brighter..then when the light faded, her body was gone.

*a note to Zarlox*

Zarlox,

There is a matter of great importance to the both of us, which we must discuss. Come to me in Blackguard. I found her body, dead in the snow.
