Rryn sat at the table absently twirling the special bracelet that Hugh had given her. Her closest friend and her personal advisor, Jade, sat watching her. Jade asked her what exactly the bracelet signified as she had never seen anything like it. Rryn explained to her of the importance of the gris a gris bracelet, how it kept her safe and allowed Tai and Hugh to know if she was in need of help. It also warded off illness and evil from her and the babes. If anything should happen , they would sense it immediately.
The many men and ladies had left out on their quest not an hour before. She had kissed Tai farewell and sent a silent prayer up for their success and safe return. How she wished she could have assisted in the quest to help a friend gain the means to return her memories. She knew she would have been more a liability then help in her current condition. Glancing at her stomach, there was no denying she was very much with child. Several at that. She laughed aloud at her thought causing Jade to look at her strangely.
" Is everything alright Rryn-sama?"
" I apologize Jade-san. I am fine. My thoughts tend to turn to humor over my encumberance lately."

Jade grinned reminding her it was a temporary condition. They sat laughing and gossiping of many things to pass the time. The hour grew late and Jade bid her good eve to return to make dinner. Rryn went down to the lounge area to freshen up and read until Tai returned home. Not getting thru the first page of the book, her eyes closed on their own and she dozed off into the strange dreams she seemed to have of late.
She awoke as Tai was settling next to her upon the setee, pulling a fur over them. He apologized for waking her, kissing her gently and asking after her welfare and the children. She told him all was well as she snuggled closer to him handing him the book she had been trying to read. He opened the book and began reading to her as he gently ran his fingers thru her hair.
Very soon the sounds of men and horses were heard coming from below them in the stables. Tai apologized again , kissing her gently on her head, then made ready to go join the newcomers in the tavern. Rryn followed after several minutes had passed. Upon entering the tavern , Tai announced her and kneeled at her feet. Several patrons looked over in confusion. She bade him to stand. She knew her secret was out, but not all knew the truth of her royal background. She had just wanted to be herself and his wife. Rryn yawned behind her hand. Tai excused himself with a wink at her , saying he would return in but a moment.

Tai had been acting so very strangely since her return. She had come home, confronting the one calling himself Brother Void and denouncing his talk of having kidnapped her. His actions of attempting to burn Zento down had made her return to end the confusion. Tai had come out from behind the bookcase saying he had seen enough. In the moments following , utter confusion and chaos erupted, Rryn had looked over to see a dagger being pulled out of Tai and within moments Void's head had been hanging from Tai's hand. She knew he was in much turmoil over his recent changes. At times he was his usual self, others he was so different.

Upon his return , he gently lifted her up into his arms and carried her down to their suite. Entering she smelled the sweet smell of incense. Upon the fur coverings he had placed several sakura petals. He gently laid her down making sure she was comfortable. He helped her undress , tucking the furs over her ,then joined her under the furs. The heavy scent of the incense and the warmth of her husband soon found her fast asleep.
Making sure she was in a deep sleep, Tai carefully slid out of the furs and extinguished the incense. He hid it away in his pouch knowing she would be upset he had tricked her by using the same incense she had aquired to help him sleep. It could no longer effect him but she would not rouse for several hours and no noise would wake her. He bent down to lay a kiss upon her , she did not respond .Smiling, knowing she would get good rest this eve, Tai glanced his timepiece then slid out of the room quietly. He stopped briefly to speak to the guard just outside the door.
As the sun began to rise, Rryn awoke from a refreshing, undisturbed sleep. Opening her eyes, she found her husband standing at the end of the bed , a large bouquet of wild flowers in his hands. Glancing about the room, her eyes rested upon breakfast foods on every possible surface. Glancing at him questioningly , he wink at her then said very seriously,

" Breakfast for Five...."
