When Lord Flair awoke this morning his head was filled of memories of the night before. With that in mind instead of taking his tea to the garden he went to his desk and grabbed a scroll and started writing.

My dearest Claudette,

I have awoke this morning a bit late but filled with wonderful thoughts of last night. I'm sitting drinking my morning tea and my thoughts are with you and your lovely house and town. Although it was a bit overwhelming for me I loved to see where you live and Vesper and would enjoy seeing the rest of it. It is a bueatiful place in it's own way even if it doesn't have and waterfalls. I am looking forward to having that picnic with you sometime in the near future.

I'm am writing to tell you that I may not be able to see this evening because I have some duties to take care of but I wanted you to know that I was thinking of you and cannot wait until I can see you again. I hope that everything is well and that you can accept my my humblest appologies for not being available this eve, but I promise I will make it up to you.

Most Truely Yours,
Lord Flair

*Seal of the Ruby Dragon*

He takes the scroll and lovely wraps it and sealing it with wax and affixing the seal of the Damiyo of Zento to the outside. He wraps it in a red ribbon in which he slides a flower he picked from his garden. He summons his fastest messenger and instructs him to take the letter straight to Lady Claudette.
As he watches his messenger ride away into the distance his heart fills with thoughts of Claudette and the wonderful time they have shared together over the last few days.

Claudette was in her house doing some cleaning when she heard a knock on the door. She opened it and was surprised to see a messenger stading there. As Claudette asked him to come in, he handed her an envelope. "This is for you M'lady" he said. She instantly smiled when she noticed the seal, the seal of the Ruby Dragon. It was a note from Flair.

Claudette asked the messenger to have a seat and rest while she read the letter. The man was more than happy to sit and help himself to the food and drink Claudette had set on the table.

It seemed only fitting to go up to her garden and read the letter there since just the night before, she and Flair had had a very nice evening conversing there. She carefully untied the red ribbon and released the beautiful flower he had attached to the letter. How thoughtful, he must have picked it from his garden she thought. Placing the flower delicately on her lap, a smile brightened her face as she read on.

After finishing, Claudette was happy that he had also enjoyed their evening and decided to write a response. She got some parchment and began writing.

Dear Flair,

Thank you so much for your letter and the beautiful flower. It definitely brightened my day! I am so very glad to know that you enjoyed spending time with me last night. I too had a wonderful evening and went to bed with very pleasant thoughts. The idea of a picnic is very exciting and I hope we will find the time to plan that soon. I know you are busy and as I told you last night, I respect the fact that you have other duties and obligations.

On another matter, I would like to advise you that we seem to finally be ready to go search for this crystal ball that Drayden has been researching. We will depart on our quest this Thursday eve. You once said you just needed notice to gather up a force and I would be most grateful to you if you could accompany us on this night. I'm not sure what we will encounter and it will be comforting to know that you will be there by my side.

I look forward to the next time we can spend some time together and in the meantime just know that I am thinking of you.

With much affection,

Claudette

Claudette sealed the letter and brought it downstairs for the messenger. Having had a good meal the man was more than happy to deliver her letter. She wished him godspeed and watched him as he made his way out.

She then turned her attention to the flower she held in her hand. Smiling, she brought it up to her nose and smelled it's delicate petals. Sighing contently, she carried on with her cleaning.
