A soft whisper could be heard as she began thinking of the past few days
...Azreal.

Two nights she had sat in the Hunter's Lodge awaiting her nemesis to play a game of chess. She had won her game against a worthy apponent. Her nerves were on edge, was he playing with her fears as a way to get to her? Why had he not shown up for the game? He taunted her and warned her before leaving after he had won against Balios. He said she would be his again. A rush of fear ran through her as she recalled the moment.

She had lived many years trying not to think of him, not wanting to remember the hell she had gone through at his hand. It would be just his style to instill fear in her so she would loose. Had it not been for friends and loved ones she would still be under his control.

Perhaps it was good he did not show up. Somehow she feared this would not be the end to his madness and obsession. She could not help but think he had some dark plan in his evil mind connected to this game...a simple game...but what concequences would it bring?

Who knows the twisted mind of the fiendish Azreal Lu'Rael. she said to herself. Knowing him as she did she knew it would not be a mere game of chess...was she good enough to win in a simple game of chess against him? He always did like to gamble...and she was always a risk taker...
