Born from humble begginings in the town of Minoc, he was the son of the local tinkerer Geoffery Graysky. When he was 18 there was a raid on minoc from a band of unknown brigands. The raid left him a lonely orphan for both his mother and father were slain in the battle. His Uncle Lucious Graysky came to minoc in one of the following months to bring the boy with him. his uncle was always seen as an outside in the family, refusing to take up the crafting trade, instead he was well known for travelling the land in search of magical knowledge. It was his uncle that gave Gregory Graysky the name Gadget. It was his way of both poking fun and helping him remember hsi origins at the sametime. Under his Uncle's apprenticeship Gadget grew to become a reknowned Mage even more so than his uncle. However quiet he may be Gadget is known for his wisdom and patience. He beleives fighting is the last option and will always attempt to explore all other routes first. he has spend the last number of years in his life wandering the lands in search of more knowledge himself, but has now setled down in Sanctus a town his father spoke the world of.
