*The paper seems to be torn out from a blank page in a book*
Vaen I send this pigeon to you urgently. As you know that I live near Minoc and I daily frequent the city it self. Even if it is in the enemies grasp, they dont patrol very well. Upon entering the city it self it was oddly quiet. I go to the bank, no one. The black smith, no one. The entire city is empty Vaen. Not a single citizen in the whole town. Something is not right. Its almost like they abandoned the place or something. I am going to look about Minoc some more and then leave. I just hope where ever the citizens are they are safe.
Sincerely,
Vahn Roughnight _________________ "Concerning martial valor, merit lies more in dying for one's master than in striking down the enemy." |

Vaen was about ready to engulf this letter into flames as well before he read it was from Vahn.
He read it once, twice, three times, and then engulfed it into flames in a fit of rage.
After pacing around the Stronghold for a short while, Vaen slowly calmed down and realized the only thing left to do in retaliation, to show the Skulls that they can't walk around like they own the land.
