*a official messenger delivers and ornate parchment bearing the seal of the Regency*
Greetings and salutations Lord Crownguard,
I sadly must inform you, that your name is unknown to me, and I do not believe I have ever had the pleasure of making your acquaintance. I have also inquired extensively about the group you represent, to little avail, none seem to have heard of, or recall, the Order of the Black Serpent. Regretfully I was unaware of your previous communication with our Lord Regent or his answer to said letter, as he did not share either with the council.
Serpents Hold has long been part of the Regency , and the Regency has always held the welfare of the citizens and the City of Serpents Hold a high priority. I find your claim to ownership interesting, from an intellectual standpoint, and by all means urge you to submit whatever supporting documents you might possess, so they may turned over to a committee appointed to investigate the matter. I’m sure you can understand, that as servants of the people of Britannia, we would need to fully look into this matter to ensure the best interests of our citizens are represented.
Lord Nazralte was recently elected to the position of Regent in a free and open election. I can personally attest to the honesty and integrity of the Lady that over saw the election and ensure to you that she went to great lengths to make sure the procedure not only followed the Constitution of Britannia but included all that wished to participate in the electoral process.
Although I find your usage of the term “Noble” flattering, I should point out that only one current member of the loyalist council holds an aristocratic title, and that we all have been called to serve not only the government of Britannia but more importantly her citizens.
May the Light of Virtue be upon you,
Mia Stormcrow
Chancellor
