Dear Vaen,

It is with reluctance i post this letter on a public bulletin, but i honestly do not know where to find you. I figured here in Minoc your hometown would be the least likely place my new enemies would find this and you would locate it fastest. I need you old friend, I hope your spirits are as high and noble as they once were. I realize you are a business man now, a hired arm, but i would hope our friendship and my services to you in the past would be adequate payment, for i am but a poor elf, the training and acquiring of items as a mage are is quite expensive.
To sum this up quickly old friend, it is rumored that the Order of the Ebon skull has intentions of invading a newly discovered land of Heartwood, the ancient Elven Capitol. I canot stress what that town means to me, and though im sure if elves do indeed remain there they can hold they're own, I would like to hinder OES from locating it and potentially occupying it before i locate it, and give my brethren warning of evil to come. I understand if you do not accept, for this is quite a large favor to ask, but if you do, please come to skara brae of the Trammel facet as soon as you can. I will be moving my personal quarters from my tower outside the city to the Rangers guild within the city limits. I cannot convey my appreciation with words if you acceot this new task with me.

Good luck old friend with whatever you may do, and i hope you get this soon for i will be removing it within a day or so for i do not want this letter to get to much exposure.
