Ladies and Gentlemen,

In the interests of restoring the city-state of Sanctus and in a united effort, the citizens along with a privately employed engineering corps will begin construction of a pallisade and perimeter around the city.

The concerns for security expressed by the citizens of Sanctus are at heart and they will be answered. Increasingly frequent and bothersome incursions by brigands, bandits, orcs and rabid animals must be put to an end.

The traditional territorial boundaries of the city-state will be used in the construction of the defensive perimeter. Entrances to and from the city will be along the main road only. Our apologies for any inconveniance.
