Dear Vaen,
It pains me each day when i wake up and think about the legacy that has diminished. I know that I wasnt a part of the great "family" of justice that you forged from its infancy, but I feel just as great of a loss as any other.
Some say we Elves are lacking on emotions and that losses like this dont phase us, becasue we do live through the rise and fall of many great dynasties and empires, usually we mark these as seasons. But this one has taken its toll on me, I will never be able to replace such great companions as you and the remainder of our comrades in =L=. But unfortunatey I am very young in elven years and cannot simply sit around and decay for the next twenty generations of man.
I have recently found acquaintance with the members of th House of the Gauntlet and though they couldnt replace what i had in Legion, they have definately filled the emptiness within me and have aided in my new venture as i abandon the life of a warrior and pursue the arcane arts. I hope the time presents itself when we can once again fight alongside one another, but until then, I will assist Lady Molly anyway I can and attempt to present to her the friendship and ally that she relied on when we were a whole guild.
Just be careful old friend, already enemies who we once stood unopposed by have surfaced themselves during these times where good is outweighed by evil, and I hope that your wits are about you and you have not been overcome by such a loss as I did initially. Come find me whenever you have the time it was always a pleasure to serve under you.
