She stood there looking into the dungeon she had built for sacrifices and tortures. As she inspected the bars and the floor within, she thought of the event that happened a a few days ago.

Slinking within the shadows, she had followed her former lover, the Sheriff of Santus, into Blackgard. Feeling quite mischivous that day, Faith decided to enter the castle, causing the doors to clash loudly against the stoney corridors. As she advanced through the maze, she caught Spawn's attention. He followed the movement of the doors all the way into the meeting hall on the second floor. Faith smiled as she still continued to watch him from the shadows. She then seated herself comfortably onto Talon's throne. It was at this point, she made herself known.

As the two exchanged words, Spawn notified Faith that he had found a new love. At first Faith was indifferent to it all. "Let the girl have him for all I care" she thought to herself. However, being curious, she still insisted on knowing who the woman was. At this, Spawn had finally reveiled her. It was none other than Aerie from Sanctus.

"What!??" Faith spat as Spawn spoke the name. "That pathetic, whiny, blonde, wimpering elf"? she shouted in outrage. As Spawn confirmed, Faith could feel a murderous rage fill her entire body. As Spawn noticed the change going over in the movements of the angry drowess, he at last said, "I was made aware of the things you did to her in the underdark and if you ever attempt to harm her again, I will kill you on sight" At this, Faith calmed her expression and replyed, "Oh, do not worry hun, I will not harm her..... Yet." At this, Spawn finaly pulled his weapon out of its sheath and put it against her throat. "I will warn you again, do not harm her!!" He said more firmly.

At this, Faith merely laughed outloud and said, "very well, you can have that pathetic blonde elf for all I care, but i do not like this change in you, I could never see you involved with such a weak creature." At this, she vanished, stalking away into the night.

She stood there now, in her abode looking into the cells. "I will just have to find a way to capture her again", she thought. As she turned away from the cell, she went through her trunk until she found the books she had written, filled with revised methods on how to torture and make blood sacrifices to Lolth. She had gotten these methods from the old archives she had visited during her return to the underdark to pray to her goddess. "It is time i put some of these methods back to use" she thought to herself, smiling wickedly. "And once I have captured Aerie", she thought "She will regret the day she ever set foot into Spawn's Love life." Smiling, she put the tomes away. The next few months will be busy for her as she makes her preparations for vengance, and the first ritual blood sacrifice she makes to her beloved goddess.

Spawn sat at his desk at his new house in Malas. He was thinking of his recent encounter with Faith. Upstairs, his new love Aerie was peacefully sleeping on his bed. His new butler Hunter walked into the house and greeted him. Spawn nodded to the butler and continued sitting in his chair.

"Something bothering thee sir?" Hunter asked.

"Yes... Faith is bothering me" Spawn replied

"Ah of course, That drow harlot you told me about" Hunter said with a nod. Spawn stood up then starting pacing back and forth behind his desk. Hunter looked at him with concern while cleaning his desk.

"Me and her exchanged words in Blackgard... I told her about Aerie and I. Faith got outraged and said some unnecessary things. Now I think she will try and harm Aerie." Spawn said. He stop pacing then went towards the nearest window and looked outside.

"And what happens if the drow tries to harm Aerie sir?" Hunter asked. Spawn looked over his shoulder at Hunter then back outside the window.

"I will do what must to make sure Aerie is safe and happy. And if that means striking down that worthless excuse of a drow with my blade... So be it. As long as I'm still breathing... Aerie shall be safe. I would die before Aerie was harmed by that harlot Faith!" Spawn slammed his fist against the wall.

"I see sir... And where is Aerie now?" asked Hunter.

"Upstairs sleeping..." Spawn replied as he walked towards the door.

"Ah... I will make sure she is alright sir" Hunter said as he started cleaning the rest of Spawn's office.

"Thank you Hunter.... I will be in Sanctus if you need me" Spawn said. He then walked outside his house and looked for the Sanctus page in his runebook.

"Love with Bloodshed... How ironic..." Spawn said. He then said the magic words of recall then disappeared.
