Leshok walked into his house a small sigh, not of sadness, but contentness. He knew it would perhaps be weeks before he would be in the company of LaBelle again, as she ventured to perform duties in Magincia. He smiled though remembering the past few eves with her and knowing that waiting on her return would not be hard, and would be well worth it.

The night she showed him the light house in the lost lands, they had expressed in words the deepness of their affections and feelings. Leshok knew then that he had something special beyond special. The two spent that night gazing the stars as they had often done, talking to each other of thoughts and feelings. When the subject came up LaBelle explained the ways he had caught her affection, despite her at the time resolving to a path of solitude. Leshok smiled and gave her his cloak to keep with her while in Magincia, a token to remind her of him.

The two parted with a hug and small kiss. Knowing she would depart later the next day. As she was to dine with Mia and a friend then depart, she might not be able to see him before leaving.

Leshok would have none of that and schemed with Mia, so that when she was to send the gate that would take them to Magincia, it would instead first take them to the Paladin hall where Leshok would be waiting. As Leshok stood outside the hall and waited, letter in hand for her, he turned to see the gate open and a confused LaBelle apear. She looked at him, then at a grinning Mia and smiled and blushed. He gave her the letter he wrote for her to read upon her arrival of the city. As Mia stopped to play with her dog, the two stood and gave pleasant parting words to one another. They shared an affectionate hug and two brief kisses before Leshok watched her and Mia step through the gate to Magincia and returned home to rest.

She arrived to Magincia, the stars were just becoming visible as the Lady Mia, bid her familiar fare well. LaBelle turned and gazed along the Magincian shoreline, taking notice the seas calmness. A parchment tucked tenderly to her waist line, a golden spyglass with a surprise to be had, firmly held, LaBelle withdrew from her shoulder pack a woven hamper. Her hand grasp tenderly a ripened peach, from the selection. She set down the city walk to find accommodations, reasonably priced.

She looked up to each buildings sign, and looked over each edifice, suppositional, the room and board would exceed her means. Into the night she wandered the city ways, growing familiar with them. The rough stone of the sticky fruit in her hand, she continued to hold it to her lips, gently pulling yet more threads of flavor.

The many tasks she would need to begin, rest not at all heavy, to her mind this night.
She planned to isolate herself a time, read, and finishing writing several pieces she had worked on. Reminiscing she did, as she strolled along...

To the Abbey in Yew, an artist had approached her, taking her hands in his, in the gentle manner artists do, ”Milady must use these hands, for in them lies a talent her heart has only glimpsed.” She blushed, and looked away, politely removing her hands from his. ”Forgive me Milady, " said he, stepping closer to her, with the confidence master’s of the trade posses, “ If Milady were inclined to do so, I would offer her a lesson with the brush. ” LaBelle found herself intrigued. Something had come over her that eve, as she followed the artist to his studio. She learned what it is to paint. To mix minerals, with milk and eggs, forming mediums. Her hands ground, ambitiously, each colored stone the artist placed before her, the pigments. Oils from the linseed, bound the richness that is, paint. She had already explored much more, and had begun her first canvas...

She would indulge in this new found enthusiasm upon her stay to Magincia..
She had not questioned the inspiration, of this new pursuit...her heart knew the answers. And her fingers would glide, passionately.

LaBelle agreed at last to pay the fee of an inn, for one nights stay. The hour was late, she would seek boarding accommodations elsewhere at the first sun. The Stag and Lion, had bed’s twice the size of other Inn’s...She would not stay more then one night. Surely there were merchants who would rent a room, more befitting her needs. She placed her belongings beneath the rails of the four poster, and crawled to the center of the astonishingly cushioned elaborate bunk. Withdrawing the parchment from her belt, she carefully smoothed its edges, and held it up in the candlelight to read.

She mumbled as the letter rest to her chest that night, “Partings are indeed such sweet sorrows...Milord.”

And she drifted contentedly until the sun rose.
