Lady Willow,

Greetings My Lady I do hope this finds you in a decent mood. It has been brought to my attention recently, and more clearly, by a certain Daiymo that you and he have a previously unresolved issue that is... festering. And with this comes an offer for you. Tai has offered to see and speak with you and you alone as long as I preside at this little conference you and him may have. I will not speak any further on this issue on parchment. You know how to reach me should you wish further details and i will glady meet with you and only you to speak more on this. Until then My Lady.

Sincerely,
Galnor Bloodmoon
Patriarch of The Noore En I' Ia

A raven sits atop the vine-covered walls in the garden and watches her as she walks from her room.

It is dark and another sleepless night for her. She does not notice the raven at first and looks up at the stars. There was no moon even though there were two to be seen most nights.

The glint of something caught her eye as she slowly looked down from the sky towards the fountain. She was startled at first then recognized the creature as a bird. She moved closer and saw the jet black sheen of the feathers against the soft light of the brazier.

The bird hopped down towards her and she stepped back for him to land. He landed on the extended arm of the statue that stood looking onto the water's edge of the pool.

She noticed the bird was carrying a small carrier tube and she lowered herself to eye level with the bird. Unfimiliar with the creature she watched him as closely as he watched her. After a few moments she moved her hand towards the bird to retrieve the golden tube. As she reached within inches of, it the bird pecked at her hand pinching a small amount of flesh between his bill but did not break the skin and held on as she continued to move her hand towards the cylinder. Once she had moved close enough to reach the note she slid it from the tube and the bird released her hand, gave a wild screach, and flew off as if on queue into the blackness of the night.

She lost her ballance and landed hard on the ground, near the place where he had perched. She was quite shaken buy the encounter. Some how she felt safer hidden behind the campion bushes and roses of the garden with the warmth of the brazier to help calm her throbbing heart and ease the lump that had formed in her throat.

She used the soft light of the floor tea lamp to see. She unrolled the small scroll and read the ornate crimson words before her. She reread them several times. She took a deep breath and gathered her wits about her and leaned back against the stone archway. She pulled her feet up under her resting her head on her knees with many thoughts running through her mind and unsure what to make of the offer. They had talked philosophy a few times. He seemed sincere and he was very intelegent. She would seek him out and speak to him further.

She sat for hours, hidden there, listening to the fountain trickle and eventually, just before dawn, she was lulled to sleep by the soft sounds of the water and the tinkling of the chimes.
