Lady LaBelle

I often fancy myself as a patron of fine art and learning. Many nights I have spent in the land’s greatest library which derives it’s name from your winning contest entry. My time exhausted in the Athenaeum has attracted the attention of the owner and now I have access to the resources of the libraries.

I have thus acquired ten books from the library which may be of interest to you. Each concerns the virtues and some are quite old. You will be delighted to own them. However, I am not in the prospect of giving away such exquisite books. Therefore I would ask that you complete a favour for me in order to receive the works.

I know well of your linguistic skills and your talent for the quill. My first introduction to you was through a book you left in Magincia many years ago which I still have, it rests on the writing table of my cabin. I am looking at it now, the pages are quite worn and lately I have begun to think that a new one is necessary. I would thus desire a uniquely written work created by your hand on any subject dear to you. But I ask that you do not use a commoners’ paper nor purchase a blank book from a provisioner. Only pages made from a fallen Yew Tree can withstand the test of time. No doubt the great Lord Kotare of Yew has such a blank book for you to fill.

I hope that your interest is peeked.

Milord Isk,

Your letter to include request,
find this Lady near an ecclesiastic
journey upon the city Magincia.
I shall however excursion to Yew,
to procure such a binding, made from
the pulp of trees. During my stay
upon the city I will complete
this work for Milord, in
exchange for ten books
of superlative interest.

Yours Faithfully,

~Lady LaBelle
