|
Tonight I had hoped that bringing the news of Tai Kwan Leap's new clan and his wish to bring more into our fold would be more of a joyous occasion. However it seemed to be met with skepticism, and unfortunatly, a mark of dishonor twords Tai.
I do not blame anyone for this but myself. I had hoped to make it clear that the changes that were made to enact the new Council in Zento were small and did not effect anything.
Looking over the Constitution at length, I did not come across anything that related to the situation at hand. So I must say that forcing Tai to go through the process of becoming a Loyalist is not needed. It was pointed out that this may show favortism. This is not the case for I would never ask someone to re-apply if they just changed the name of thier guild, or in Tai's case, thier clan.
So far I do not think I have forced my will upon the Council, and I shall not now. I ask that you reply to my letter and tell me if you disagree and why.
If there is a valid reason to have him re-apply, we shall. If not, I ask that everyone, including myself, apologize to Tai Kwan Leap so that he may sit and guard us once again. I must remind you that he has done nothing but sacrifice himself for the Regency, and even though it seems odd to us, his honor is at stake.
Humbly Yours, _________________

LaBelle received the letter in silence, in silence did she reply thusly:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Milord and Regent,
This Lady has no quarrel with your
decision, and commends the trust
built between a Commander
and his Lord.
Perhaps Milord, reads too much into
the reaction, or he expected twice fold
with exuberance.
It is by your lead, Milord.
Peace and Health,
~Lady LaBelle~
Furling the parchment, careful to tie a scarlet ribbon about it, she sent the reply by pigeon. Moving about the Church, she gathered her things, and began transferring them into a large trunk with which to carry to the city Maginica. Her thoughts ventured far from any concern of the Commander, his clans, and the lands of the Tokuno Islands. |
