Tai seemed like a proud warrior in the eyes of Raven. A little too proud. As he would spar in his Dojo in Zento, Raven would study his strengths and weaknesses. To her suprise, He had asked Rryn to strike at him from the shadows. Hesitant at first, she complied and try and try she did. Not once was she able to land a blow upon him. This began to amuse Raven as she looked on to his guard who were busy sparing. "they must spar a lot." she thought. the condition of there axes showed that one was in dire need of repair. the other was in better shape, but still, it too could use some work.

She continued to watch as they all seemed content that they were safe from the Assassin's eyes. Though Raven prefers to strike her mark while they are in the company of friends, She knew she would not suceed tonight. But it was only then she realized that Tai can safeguard himself very well. But, what about those he has come to love? Would the death of Rryn prove to be enough to make him formidible enough to regain the lost control? Or would it drive him into madness to know that even if he is safe, those around him are not. Thus showing him he still lacks that very control he seems to think he has. After comming to this conclusion, she enjoyed placing the purple petals at Rryn's feet. This not only showed her she wasn't safe, but that the rest were not free from the assassin's reach. Time will tell who is next to fall. The Samurai, or his love.

The bloom of the purple petal is not the symbol of death, rather a symbol of respect. Any assassin can kill without warning. But, to find one laying at your feet is a symbol of the assassin's great respect for their mark.
