Death...it was something he had never experienced before. Yet compared to the misery he felt now, it was comforting. The elf sighed softly, his sapphire eyes staring out the silvery ocean that lie just mere steps from his new home.
I died brother, yet you still went to search for me. Such is the way of the firekin. Where have you gone Dialmon? I can no longer feel our bond. Drayden shivered. When on loses their kin of the Flame it brough misery and despair. He had been gone for over a year...in his life a year passed in a bink of an eye. However, in a year in the life of the many humans of Sossaria, everything had changed.
The elf turned, looking over his small home. How he missed the Cathedral, his Order. While it was true the Order of the Flame still existed, it was a mere shadow of what it once was. Those who still remained had lost sight of the true was of the Flame. Yet even upon his return, he was not welcomed he felt.....ostracized. Ironic isn't it my brother, the one who still follows the true ways of the Flame is the one who is ignored....
A few moments later, Drayden found himself in his nearly empty home sifting through the ancient tomes. A small smile spread across his face. "Perhaps it is time to bring about the Order once more..." He knew in his heart that this is what must be done. A slight laugh escaped him as he filled his long pipe with his favorite tobacco and he settled in to read the texts of old.
Well Dialmon, I have much work to do....
