Leshok stood on the balcony of his home on Legion Island, looking out to the sea, stuck in troubling thoughts. Much had happened over the last week, and it all weighed heavy upon his mind, not eased at all by the increasing number of people that had began to look to him for answers. The plague, Max's failing health, the Ebon Skull, and Vaen's death.

"Dead..." Leshok whispered to the wind with a sigh, he could hardly believe that one so strong of body and will would just simply, be dead. His gaze trailed inward to the rest of the Legion buildings on the island. "Home.." he whispered again, indeed he had found a home with the Legion, a feeling he thought long out of his reach since his days in Stormhaven. Yet here he had friends, brothers and sisters in arms, and now it all seemed to hang on the edge of a knife.

The loss of Vaen was taking its toll on everyone, not just in the Legion, and not just within the Northern Alliance, but through out the realm. He winced remembering the look on Mallory's face when they tried to summon Vaen from the abyss to only see a ghost before the summoning wore off. Rachel, so grief striken, had hardly stepped foot outside her home, where Valatin took care of her, he too sad at the loss of one so close.

The question ran back and forth through out Leshok's mind..."would the Legion endure?"

Some things never change even after 4 years...
