My Dear friend,

It pains me to hear of the death of your husband. He and I never shared pleasantries but you are dear to me and your pain is mine. I feel particularly responsible for your separation from him and if you can find it in your heart to forgive me I am here for you.

I will stand with you and your children at the commeration if you like. If you do not wish it I will completely understand. It is so unfair that you have lost so many you love.

We have similar occurances in our lives. I do understand your anguish and if you should need to talk or just need time to recover you are more than welcome to stay with me in my home. There are rooms for you and the children there. I would be honored to have you in my home. The Inn is no place for the children at this time of pain and recovery. Martin has been away for a long, long time and I am sure if he returns he would be most willing to have you stay with us. And if he does not return I will welcome the company. This place is so big and lonely without a family.

Alizia was sitting on her bed. A few days has passed and her appetite was nil. She just watched Charles whom laid sleeping. The soft caress of the morning light came through the window to brush her skin, making it feel warm. Her thoughts could only go to Mark..how his touch had the same affect. She had looked at the pile of letters that seemed to have grown over the last few days. She couldn't bare to read any of them, almost as if she were to read them it would only enforce the reality that she was wanting to forget. She just closed her eyes and reached for a letter. She knew she was going to have to start on them soon. First letter she grabbed was from Molly. She opened it up and started to read it. She sighed shaking her head as she moved to get a parchement and quill. She then started to write.


Dear Molly,

I am sorry it had taken me so long to return the reply. I fear I have not been much of a letter reading mood never mind a replying one. I am sorry to have heard about your eyesite. I thought for sure with the Virtues blessing them they would last. It seems the Virtues are not only disappointing me this time. Do not think of it, I knew what could happen should I had went to aide you. Though I did not believe him to be serious. I thank you for your kind offer to be there for my family..though I would love to have you there..I feel that in Mark's honor that perhaps you should not. He saw you as his mortal enemy and swore you wanted him dead. I do not feel it would be proper to have your presence there and I can not guarentee your safety. I much rather have you alive and safe than put your life in possible danger. Though I am sure that at least I and Charles may need a little get away. So I will keep your offer in mind. I am sorry for making this short but as I have neglected my mail, it seems to have only grown with time. Take care and hope that Martin returns to you soon.
