|
Four months had passed since he was given his quest by the mysterious Mr. I to have the crook blessed by the most virtuous in the realm. The journey had been longer than he had expected and looking over his list Septis felt great discouragement.
How was he ever going to find Gub Gub, Alexander and LaBelle? He did not even know how they looked and who might know them. The blessed crook which now exhibited a faint blue glow continued to give off static electricity often shocking him no doubt accidentally as he carried it lifted carefully off the ground. As he sat on a rock outside of Trinsic he rested the crook on his knees and watched the birds play in the trees. As he began to eat the simple lunch a passing shepherd had given him he began to remember in fondness the kindness of Lady Molly and Lady Lilyth who had blessed his crook months ago...
Molly blessed the crook with elven magics in the forest that was dear to her.
Lilyth blessed the crook in the Abbey at the foot of the ankh.
Drinking down some Yew wine with his meal, a gift from a northern friend, he gave himself another hour to relax his legs. He did not know where his quest would take him next, but if the past was any indication he presumed there would be a lot of walking in store. |
