This weeks meeting went rather quickly. There wasn't any fighting or arguments. Simply discussions about the happenings in the world and how we should deal with them. Yet Nazralte stayed up long into the night thinking of the meeting and its topics.
First came the news that Lia was missing. Was she kidnapped by those who threatened Vesper the week before? Or perhaps it was someone else. Hopefully Tai's scouting unit will shed some more light on the matter.
Then of course he spoke of the aid they had planned to send to Umbra. Nazralte of course knew it was just a way of keeping the Regency out of thier lands, and he was sure that they hadn't heard the last of the Ebon Skull.
Britain, the city under attack. Nazralte himself went there a few times over the past week. He had fought off a few scouts, quick work for a seasoned vetran, and helped heal a few citizens joining in the fight. But of course there were bigger things lurking out in the woods. Just waiting for the right time to strike. With strength and fortitude the city will hold out, and the Regency will be fighting for her the entire time.
Next Isk brought up Kotare and his Blackwind Knights. They had done quite alot for Britain, assistance in fighting and showing great concern in the citizens well being. Isk suggested sending a gift, quickly seconded by Tai. Everyone agreed that a statue, suggested by Talaus of the Guard, would be the best to send.
Then of course there is Vesper. The Priest of Chaos was not bluffing it seems. He of course was the one behind it, but finding him may be more difficult than it seems. In the mean time, the people are suffering, and more grow sick by the day. Healers will be sent and hopefully a cure will be found soon.
All these things he pondered over, untill Ivae woke from her sleep and told him to rest. Nazralte was never one to disobey an order like that from his wife. Smiling, he walked to the bed, stopping to give Mirima a kiss goodnight, and snuggled up with his wife. _________________
