Looking over the various notes, Valdor was certain that the tallies were correct. Through various agents, enough supplies to fill the holds of two ships had been purchased.

Having recently sailed on the Knighthood's pair of twin vessels, the Wandering Wisp and the Drunken Dragon, on their maiden voyages, Valdor was pleased to see his decision to purchase the ships paying off.

Britain was under attack and it's citizens were in great need of various goods. Rather than risk sending these over land, Valdor had arranged for the two ships to be loaded with supplies.

Dipping his quill into ink, Valdor signed his name to the order for this to proceed as planned. On the morrow, the ships would be loaded and would depart from Vesper. Their destination would be Britain, their cargo the supplies for the good people of the fair city. Valdor's cousin, Danilo, was from Britain originally and had donated a fair share of the gold used to purchase the supplies.

A good number of the Knights would also journey to Britain to offer their support to the defenses of the city.

As an added precaution, Valdor penned another order, instructing his agents to begin building up reserve stocks of various supplies. This could prove to be a long siege and the Knight wanted to make sure that the people of Britain, and the surrounding area, were provided for in these dark times. Once the ships returned from their first mission, he would have them return to Vesper to be reloaded once more.

Valdor breathed a sigh of relief as he watched the magical gate close. They had managed to load the last of the supplies onto the ships without having to bring the ships into Vesper. The bulk of the supplies had come through Elysium and had been already aboard the twin vessels, the remainder had been sealed and packed away in Riverrun.

A portion of what he had planned to send had been destroyed, to avoid any risk of the plague that was afflicting Vesper being brought aboard the ships. It had taken desperate changes to his plans to avoid such a risk, but the Knights could not bear the burden of spreading this plague to Britain in such a time of need.

The loading was done, soon the ships would be under full sail. The aid promised by the Knights would arrive in time to help those in need.

That matter behind him, Valdor looked regretfully back at his large stack of notes. There was much to do in these troubled times, and not enough time to do it. He decided to take his notes with him and travel to Elysium, where he could work at peace and perhaps consult the Book of Destiny.

Valdor stood on the shoreline, just outside of Eastern Britain, staring at the sea as if he could will the supply ships to arrive.

They should be here by now, he thought. It is not that long of a journey, and Samuel Coleridge had said that the winds were favorable for the trip. The Knight had asked the harbormaster if he had heard any mention of the twin ships, but the man had heard nothing. Many ships had come and gone over the past couple of days, but none had reported any sight of the Wandering Wisp or the Drunken Dragon.

Moving away from the shore, Valdor summoned his faithful steed, Mular. He had decided to return to Elysium and seek out his cousin, Danilo Thann. Danilo would be able to find the ships through magical means and insure that they hadn't ran into problems. The worried Knight hoped that his cousin would be easily located, he strongly felt that the ships needed aid, and hoped that it didn't come too late.

Before traveling to Elysium, he decided to pay a visit to his old friend, Rupert Avery. Rupert would loan him enough gold to purchase more supplies in case the ships never arrived. The need in Britain was great, and the Knight wanted to make sure that the people got the help that they so desperately needed.
