Life as a BlackWind often ment that you were no stranager to death. Kotare knew this all to well. He has sat in the company of death for far too long. Not as a ruler of a warrior society, but as one of the damned. He knew full well his effects on Unity and Anna. he knew full well they had something in mind for him. But plots within plots were his game and he was in this to win.

As a vampire, Kotare hated who he was. He wanted to erase all traces of what he was. For many years he has tried and failed. And even worse, it has brought him to become part of something he never really wanted to be part of. The Dark Awakening is a fools errand he thought. If there was ever a vampire who broods in misery over what they are, Kotare would be the most notable one. His last attempt claimed the life of the elven prince Silmadil and all the crew on board a ship sailing to the new lands.

He seeks peace of mind now. It is only a matter of time. A time where he will once again feel the warmth of his own skin, to be able to relive his innocence before he was tricked into becomming a vampire. To simply be human once again. These were the dreams of one who grew insane from trying to end his existance. He has always seen being a vampire as a curse. But that is a fact he had kept hidden far to well. No one knows what he truely desires, not even his newlywed wife.

He has come to the point of taunting those who would end his existance. He grined at the thought of being hunted by his own kind. He is waiting for them to make the first move. Diablerie was the only true death he could not escape from. And upon resurrection, it is said that you become Mortal once again with the loss of all knowledge from the day you were sired. Atlast he has found his solution. Now he has to make that solution happen.
