The Citizens of Luna wake up from another stress filled night, wondering when another attack will come or not. Moving about their business as usual, word starts to spread. The Dark Order retracted it's troops. Their encampment gone. Is this the end of the war? They went on with life, feeling more happy and having an extra jump to their step, as others were doubtful thinking it just a ploy before the next strike.

And so life continues there...

Dragoona sat at a table in the basement of the Midnight Fox Society's Luna outpost scribbling in her notebook. The house was currently serving as the Society's guildhouse, Dragoona was in the process of moving main guild operations into a larger Feluccan house. The constant fighting between Sanctus, the Dark Order, and who knows who else (She stopped paying attention to who was involved after the fourth or fifth group became involved) had bought the Society much needed time.

She sat there, focused on solving various guild matters, when a familiar scent wafted into the room. Alchemic chemicals, blood, necromancy, and dragoon scent buried somewhere underneath the other thick smells.
"Well Zero, what brings you down here? You usually avoid the basement, unless you're seeking to avoid the constant noise from outside. Today's been pretty quiet though." Dragoona spoke, not looking up from her notebook.
"That's exactly what I'm here to speak to you about." Zero replied in a low voice as she emerged from the shadows, her black cloak wrapped around the front of her body. "There's been a lot of whispering happening, it seems the Dark Order has pulled its troops out of Luna. Some think it's just to trick everyone into a false sense of security... but in either case, the opposition has let up." Zero lifted her head slightly, looking straight at Dragoona with a dull red eye exposed from under her hat.
"...That leaves nobody to oppose Sanctus. Who will now have free time to find a new 'evil to right'. DAMMIT, I'm going to have to speed up moving the guild out of this place. They know we're here, they've tried forcing their way into the house a few times. I'll get everything out of here and then you let them search the house next time they bother you and show them it's clean." Dragoona said as her eyes widened, realizing how much work she had to do in the next few days. Zero nodded, then slipped into the shadows once more, satisfied her house would not be ripped apart by zealous lightbringers.

Ditto stood inside Tarothin's new bedchamber, looking out the window as the soldiers began returning home. They seemed a little tired from their trip but even from that distance she could see the sparkle of happiness and hope in their eyes.
Turning away from the window, she walked slowly towards the enormous fireplace. So welcoming and warm it was....just like the town itself. She couldn't help but smile. This town was home and she could feel it. Ditto hadn't felt this way about any place in a long time. Her house in Mallas was beautiful, but it seemed so cold and empty. She would still visit it often, but here, there was family.
New residences and businesses were springing up all over. The DarkOrder's first jail was just across the way, the tailor shop that was just getting started was there too. The rooftops of many watch towers, the Adder, and the stables could all be veiwed from the window if she but looked. Hope and promise were in the air, and she noted that her shoulders felt more relieved, as though a great weight had been taken off of them.
It's funny, she mused....she had thought that living here amongst primarily lawful people would be stressful and constraining, but so far, in the past month or so of being here, she felt even more free, and the only wall in her way at times had been Tarothin himself, but he was an adorable and fun wall to get around, so that was alright. Grinning at her last thought, Ditto turned sharply, a bit too sharp, and nearly toppled over but caught herself just in time. "Move slowly and carefully" she told herself outloud, annoyed that her own clumsiness seemed to put at risk the life of the child she carried. With slower and more set direction she headed out the bedchamber door to oversee the plans for her upcoming wedding to Tarothin.
