|
Raedyn had been approached a few evenings ago, by LaBelle. She told him of Molly's perdicament, that she had lost her eyes to a savage orc attack. Of course this was upsetting to him, so he had set out to find a solution. Sitting in his office, he put quill to parchment and began writing his idea.
Medical Journal Entry No.1-- Molly Willow
The subject is currently missing her eyes. They were
forcefully removed.
Possible Solution:
This would require a volunteer with sight, and two gems. First of all,
I need a power crystal, and two pieces of Obsidian. I will take these to a jewel crafter once I have obtained them, and have them crafted into makeshift eyeballs. The eyeball itself will be the color of the powercrystal, with a black Obsidian pupil. No iris will be put in, unless otherwise requested by Lady Molly.
And then, I would need to take the volunteer with sight to an isolated location or magically bound room. I would then, using a magical practice, contract the Gift of Vision from the volunteer and place it into the crafted gem eyeballs. This would of course cause no intrusive damage, but would render the volunteer/subject blind. This subject could be cared for until it's sight was repaired with the help of herbs and magical practices over a period of time.
The Gems would be placed in a locked box, and the box would need to be magically bound, as the first person to come in contact with them after the eyesight had been infused into them would gain the sight of those gems, and then the box would be given to Lady Molly, and the key would be kept with myself until the time she wished to implant the new eyeballs.
Note: I would need to wear magically protected gloves to handle the gems.

He then folded the parchment carefully and folded it into a book, which he placed into his pocket.
His ponderings began, who would he look to for aid in gathering the component, and the actual process of implanting the gems, as well as infusing them with the eyesight? He had not used Holy Magic in so long, so he began searching through the old tomes kept in the storage room of the Hall of Paladins, his mind still racing. |
