After a day of frustration and preparing for what seemed to be the never-ending problems, Beowulf ended to Poets Tavern. This was one of his favorite places to go, it was relaxing and there was free ale. He hadn’t expected anyone to be there in the late afternoon.

Beowulf was sitting on a stool, leaning on the table muttering to him. He heard the sound of the magical tile go off and looked over, descending off of it was Phyrra. He smiled to himself slightly; he was one of the few that Phy got along with. He strode over to her table and sat down.

“Wulfy?” She asked.

“Who else?” Replied Beowulf.

The two exchanged conversation for a while. Each telling of recent happenings, each having not so pleasant things happen. Beowulf told her how he had defied Tarothin and left the Order. She asked what he was going to do with himself and Tatiana. He wasn’t quite sure; he figured he’d continue living on Dark Cove lands for however long he wanted.

“You know…” she began to say “I may know someone who would be interested in you. They have the same enemies you do, and will fight anyone if it’s for Justice.”

Beowulf smirked slightly. “Let me guess…”

Phy smiled brightly. Beowulf told her if the man was willing to come offer him a spot, he might consider it. She was off in a hurry to retrieve him. Beowulf wasn’t sure what to think, was it the right choice?

A few minutes later Beowulf heard the magical tile sound off again. Raising his head to peer over he saw him. The forest green robe covering his armor, and the obi he wore around his waste, Phy at his side, pointing to Beowulf. Vaen Swiftar had come to speak with him about joining The Legion of Justice.

After moving to a larger table the three began to chat, than just the males. Vaen informed him on how the Yew War was doing. He informed him of the Orcs and The Ebon Skull, along with the Dark Order. After a few minutes of talking the words left Vaens mouth.

“Your more than welcome a spot in the Legion of Justice.” Vaen told him, holding out a badge.

Beowulf nodded slightly and accepted the badge. “Pleasure would be mine.”

He thought to himself as they got up to go to Legion Island: This is a fresh start.
