Tyra paced the floor a few times. She continued to go over what the healer had said. Each word she recalled made her stomache turn into knots. She felt as if one of the knots went to her throat. She heard Murdoc return and he seemed pleased. She greeted him with a kiss then a message that was sent to him. Should she tell him now? No..she will wait til after they eat their dinner and he had a chance to read the message. She took the items and went to go cook something. Throughout dinner, she carried on a conversation with him, but he seemed as if his mind were elsewhere. She noticed that he kept the message he had received next to him through out dinner. As the night went on, Murdoc seemed abit more quiet. Tyra got even more nervous, did he know? She went to take a bath as she knawed over on if she should say anything or not. Tyra saw a change in Murdoc's carefree way after receiving a message. She wasn't sure what kind of mood he was in..or if she should even tell him..what she believed. How would he take it..if she truly is. Realizing she didn't want secrets between them, she walked out to the balcony of their room where he stood gazing up at the darken sky..she held a drink, his favorite, in one hand offering it to him.
"We need to talk."
She says iwth a tone that he had yet to hear from her voice..one that was dead serious. Murdoc turns around and grabs his drink and takes a sip.
"Alright sweetie, whats on your mind?"
Murdoc sips his ale with a look in his eyes she's never seen before... something mysterious maybe even secretive. She moves and turns to look in the sky..her heart pounding faster..and for a moment its almost as if she can't get any air..her body shakes abit..perhaps from the cool breeze..or nerves..she then tured to look into his eyes and noted the gaze. For that brief moment her thoughts drifted from what she needed to tell him..for the longest time she lost herself in those eyes as she finally
breaks from the transe.
"I...I am not sure how to say this.."
He can see she is nervous as she fiddles with the hem of her night shirt. Murdoc then placed a hand upon her arm as if trying to calm her.
"What's wrong baby?"
She hangs her head abit..her voice caught in her throat..she finally looks up.
"I..I think I am with child."
She says softly..tears forming in her eyes..she had mixed feelings..about the possiblty..as it was. Murdoc stepped back towards the balcony rail and leans back against it he doesn't say anything for what seems like an eternity, he sighs deep in thought not sure if he should be mad, happy, angry, or sad.
"Are you sure Tyra? I don't know what to say... are you sure you are with.... <pauses agan for what seems like forever> child?"
She shakes her head.
"I am not sure. When I went out today..it was to see a healer. I have some of the symptoms..but they can not tell for sure. They said to wait for awhile and it would be more..evident to one of medicine to see. But I..I felt you should know..just in case it is..well..positive that I am."
She felt herself feeling as if she was being defeated by some unknown source. They had a long talk about it and as the night grew on, they both seemed to have come to terms with the possiblity. It was then he informed her that they would have to cut their vacation short. It seems he had some business he had to attend to back home. They then spent their last night in the comforts of each others arms once again. The deal was for them to get an early start out tomorrow. _________________ "Nature gave man two ears but only one tongue. A gentle reminder that he should listen more than he speaks." |

Murdoc walks up bright and early, Tyra was still sleeping so he crept out to the balcony. He paced for awhile after learning the news that he might be a father. The thought didn't totally destroy him but it did bring up some fears in his mind, after all Murdoc hasn't exactly been the model citzen he may appear to be. He sat out there for a few minutes before walking back in to pack their things and wake Tyra, for they had a long ride home ahead of them.
Murdoc steps into his office near Skara, he has a new contract in hand... finally after a year of inactivity. This was going to be one of the toughest jobs yet, maybe not that tough to another assassin, but this one would be hard, not beause of the targets physical strength, but the ties he has to the new target. _________________

It had been quite sometime since he saw his beloved sister, Tyra, who now happened to be a Princess of The City State of Sanctus, by blood, not title.
The Paladin Ruler thought briefly of her, and hoped she was well despite the shaddy Murdoc. He. soon after finishing some messages to his guild officers and the community, retired to his chambers for rest.
Andreas awoke from a pleant slumber later than night, a strange yet quelling dream about a mysterious child of "gray" some place between the dark and light, not to uncommon with the goals of Sanctus.
"whaaa..!! huh!!??" He looked about... "hmm..."
His thoughts were chilled by the night air, and he once again relaxed, half awake, and thinking...something had changed in the balance of Spirituality, but dismissed it merely as a quirk. The Lord of Sanctus was missing his ArchBishop, and thus, did he mention it not nor dwell on it further. _________________
