Rufus sat in the large lonely bedchamber within the walls of Lord Blackthorn's castle. He stood slowly and walked to the balcony; unrest had made its way to him. He stood at the balcony, looking out onto the horizon and smiled warmly. As the red sun set into the water, Rufus slowly turned and made his way back to his desk...
My Dearest Sarah,
It has been many nights since I have seen you or Ameer. I pray that you do not I feel less for you. Tis just that much of the Regency's affairs do take me abroad. A moment ago, I stood upon the balcony, high above the waves of the sea, and as the sun set, and the red hue emitted from the scenery, I invisioned Nujel'm. I thought of you and my son. Oh how I miss you. I long to sit in the palaces garden and talk of the eve's happening. I miss the stone paved walkways and sandstone beauty. Perhaps, you'll allow me a stroll when I return home within the next two days?
I pray that you have been tending to things with nay a problem. I cannot wait to hear of the past Regency meeting, for your input means much to me, and I hold all your words in high regard. If nay, then I would have chosen another to be my wife, or even, My Queen. In no longer than two days time, I will find my way to the shores, and I will greet you with open mind, open arms and a loving heart. For we've been away from each other far too long. To divide our living arrangements and working facilities is quite stressful on our being, but I pray it is a thing we can overcome. For there will be obstacles in the path that we walk. But in that path we will walk side by side. As we reach the conundrums, we will address them, and conquer them with nay a problem. But in essance, we shall learn, and grow together.
Yours In Service and Love,
Rufus Oryan
