Porthos sits at home in front of his fireplace relaxing after travelling to the newly discoverd lands. His boots off, he drifts into a trance watching the gently dancing flames. A double fisted pounding on the front door startles him out of his chair and snatches him quickly from the sleep that was quietly setting in. He rushed to the door and was shocked to see his Viceroy Sir Dennis standing there. "Sorry about the late hour m'Lord" he exclaimed "but this couldn't wait a moment longer". Porthos led him in and they sat before the fire. Dennis jumped right into his story of a cloaked person at the Regulator meeting who told them many things. He described how Rosar of the Black Knights was trying to convince them that the Regulators would ally the Orcs in order to defeat the Ebon Skull. He spewed forth details of the Ebon Skull and Orcs sacraficing humans to each other's Gods, but the most disturbing account was that of the Orc and Tarothin's Dark Order togeter in Yew. Porthos sat back in his chair, Dennis still going on about the night's events and all he could think about was the odd stranger who came to his very home some time ago warning of these very same events. His mind now realing about how he confronted Tarothin about this and had given the man trust a second time after his explanations. Guilt now welled inside Porthos for not saying anything to his fellow Regulators who followed the Virtues. The shame of being tricked followed closely. As Sir Dennis finished his story, all of Porthos feelings turned to anger, "We will learn from our mistakes and try to make it right". Porthos thanked Dennis for his prompt attention to the matter and bid him goodnight. He then went to the kitchen and got a large snack before heading to his study to write some letters. It was going to be a long night.
