Marcus sat inside a dark cave, thinking to himself.

"I made that deal with the lich... I kill Vaen, and I myself will cease to exist." Marcus threw a rock against the wall in frustration.

"Is it possible for me to get rid of him, and not cease to exist?" Marcus glanced around for a few moments.

"There has to be a way..." Marcus stood and walked around the cave for a bit, deep in thought. He needed to figure out a way that he could get rid of Vaen forever, but in a way that Marcus himself would remain on these lands. Was it possible?
