|
Written on a piece of simple parchment by an obviously hurried author.
***
Good Day Lady Rachel:
Although we have yet to be formally introduced I felt the need write you hoping you might clear up some very strange goings on at Poet's Garden this eve.
I know Lord Vaen. Not well, mind you, as we have only met a handful of times, but I know him well enough to know whether a person is him or not.
I apologize, this must sound rather confused and ridiculous. To the point....I encountered Vaen this eve at Poet's, and he was rather rude and acting much like an orc! In fact he seemed to have an orcish companion travelling with him. Not only did Lord Vaen spit upon my face, but he also threatened to kill me!
I have had some discussions with Lady Arcana of the Knight of Sosaria with regard to my guild, the Adventurer's League of Vesper, becoming a part of the Northern Alliance. After witnessing what I saw tonight, I may have second thoughts about so closely working with a guild who's officers treat others in such a fashion.
Please help me to understand what I witnessed this evening. At this point I am hoping it was all a bad dream!
Your Obt. Svt.,
Max Stuart
Adventurer's League of Vesper

Completing the letter Max rolls it, seals it and prepares it for the pigeon flight. Thinking to himself "Should I even bother? How ridiculous does it sound?"
"Hello Lady Rachel, I though Lord Vaen was an orc tonight."
"How stupid!"
"But I saw what I saw, and have the stinking robe to prove it!"
With that final thought Max sends the pigeon out the window for the trip to Lady Rachel. |

Rachel read the letter, then glanced over towards the tavern and sighed.
Causing more problems, this is not good. He's got to be stopped soon
Rachel quickly scribbled a letter...
Good day Lord Max,
I must first apologize for Vaen's actions towards you and any others. Please do not take his actions against the rest of the Legion though. I am afraid there is some strange happenings going on with Vaen lately, and I am not honestly sure what it is.
I hope to discover this more, and had planned on setting up a meeting with Lady Arcana and Lord Arlin soon. You are of course invited to come as well to discuss this. Any information you have would be more than appreciated as to figuring what is wrong with our dear friend.
Again, I apologize, and hope you do not hold all of us to his actions. I will be in touch soon as to when we could perhaps meet if you are up for it. Thank you for your letter.
Sincerely,
Rachel Corbinis
Judicator of Minoc
She quickly sent the letter off, and went off to wander the island and think of what she could do to fix this problem before anyone got hurt more. _________________ I'm not like you I'm not like them
