As Galnor sat in meditation preparing to commune with the Void an image pierced his mind as an arrow pierces flesh... a gem. As he cleared his mind in his meditation again the image rang like cathedral bells in his mind as if it were saying find me. Its as merely a moment yet as he opened his eyes night has fallen on unforgiving land of Malas... his home.
Storming out his Cathedral Galnor proceeded to stalk the lands of Malas in search of such a potentially interesting find. As if by fate as he passed the Desert area of Malas the image of the gem past his eyes again. Immediately he road off into the cold desert sands. As Galnor proceeded to get closer to the gem the image became more apparent. Unable to get the image out of his mind he quickened his pace until the dark desert sand in a particular area seemed to glow.
As if in a charge he galloped over and leaped off his mount.
"Ahh... what have we here.." Galnor spoke allowed yet to himself as he picked up the gem. Its red glow covering his face and the palm of his gloved hand.
He gazed at the gem for but a moment as an eerie grin crossed his lips.
"Yessss... Quite interesssting.... Let uss sssee what the Void thinkss" Galnor again spoke allowed as if the gem was a person.
With a slight chuckle he Climbed back onto his mount and rode for his Cathedral. |
