Arlin watched emotionlessly as the orc fell dead at his feet. These werent the orcs he and the army had come to battle nearly daily, but instead they were much weaker kin, affectionately dubbed 'urks'. He sheathed his scimitar, and bellowed out over the din of battle orders to his troops.

It was hardly needed however, as they seemed quite capable now of fighting together as a unified unit. Arcana and Merlina were also seen dashing about, a sword flashing or an arrow flying to the neck or some unsuspecting orc.

Arlin himself sat back and watched most of the battle. Although he could hardly be considered old, he was by no means the young warrior he once was. He simply didnt have the reaction time needed anymore to fight a hoarde of orcs that had invaded the city of Cove.

His train of thought now turned to the fortress city. He had brought the Army here, far from the woods of Yew, to fight these beasts. Only his most trusted officers knew his reasoning, but many of them had caught on. Between the Orcs, the Ebon Skull, and the Town Council, the Army was under constant attack or threat.

Once the orcs had been cleared out of Cove, Arlin could finally move in. But there was still much work ahead. And unforeseen obstacles lie ahead, Arlin was sure of that. But with Arcana, Vaen, and his other staunch allies, it would be a much easier battle.

A sigh of relief escaped Arlin's lips. Something that had so long eluded him finally seemed within his grasp.

Peace.
