LaBelle nestled into her writing chair, withdrawing her finest vellum, quill and inks. Carefully placing each item to her desk, she glances upon the pack set near the door to her small dwelling. Contained within, a sleeping fur, bed roll, several empty books and various reads. She had chosen carefully those items most needed, and included only the simplest of things with which to bring. Resting her chin to her hands momentarily, she gazed out the front window into the vesper falling. As she closed her eyes, time passed on before she began this letter;
Lord Administrator,
I trust this letter to find you in good health
and of pleasant spirits.
Milord, I write to you seeking two requests.
The first most simply, is the council of you and
your Lord Celebrant, with intent upon expressing
the Paladins of the Virtues consent to fulfill
the application for those Virtuous guilds, as
we spoke of in recent days.
The second, Milord, a request of mine own.
This Lady seeks repose my good
Lord. Rest, and refuge from those things
which consume her. I ask of you
to allow this Lady to take such within the walls
of your Church, and ask nothing more.
If it pleases his Lord Celebrant, and bares,
no inconvenience to your congregation, I
seek a place to stay a time, until I am
compelled to return to my daily motions.
A place to rest, a place to write, and to read,
away from those things forthcoming.
This Lady is tired, weary, and worries of
a great many things. If you please to grant me this,
you will have my thanks, and my service the
duration of my stay, should you so require.
I look forward your response, and in faith
hope that you can accommodate me.
Yours Faithfully,
Lady LaBelle
She sighed deeply as she began to slowly roll the parchment. It is in these times that great matters need attentions, and great peoples provide them. It is in these times, that a lady must take the time to repose herself, so that she can be most useful to cause. She placed the parchment within a fold of her robe, to later present to a messenger.
LaBelle set a time longer to her writing desk, then began to move about the dwelling, placing locks on those chests of valuables, securing windows, and emptying oils of lanterns. Should the Church be willing to accept her request, she planned to stay on there, uncertain of how long. |

Lady LaBelle,
Your letter does find me in good health but it dismays me to read that you may not be in good spirits. I certainly hope that the church can aid you in seeking the solice you so richly deserve. We open our doors and our arms to you in this time of need so that you may seek repose and refuge under our roof. If during your stay, you feel the need to unburden yourself, a celebrant would be willing to listen to your problems and offer what peace of mind they can offer.
As to the meeting for the List of Virtuous Guilds, we are pleased to hear of your guild's interest in being named on the list. We are open to arrange the meeting with you at your leisure before, during or after your stay with us.
Feel free to contact me to make arrangements for your stay with the church. _________________ Lodi
