Proclamation from the High Celebrant of Virtue
Of the Holy Church of the Virtues,
Bartholomew
The Holy Church of the Virtues would let it be known throughout the lands of Britannia that a new Age of Virtue is soon to be upon us. Soon we will be blessed by having known the names of those Guilds that are guided and ruled by the Virtues. To this end, the Holy Church of the Virtues extends invitations to all the Guilds and their Leaders and Rulers to arrange conference with the heads of the Holy Church of the Virtues to solicit as for consideration for inclusion on the List of Virtuous Guilds. We will meet with each individually and review with them the requirements and conditions to be met for inclusion on the HCV List of Virtuous Guilds. The List of Virtuous Guilds shall be kept and updated by the Holy Church of Virtues by and unto its own criteria.
May Virtue Light your Path
Bartholomew

*written in a strong slanting hand*
Dear High Celebrant Bartholomew:
We have had some small conversations, and I look forward to longer ones at the Church's new service time. I hope that you are already aware of the Knights of Sosaria's committed support of the Virtues, but I should be happy to meet with you more formally. Please send a message to me via carrier bird, direction 118569253, so that we may arrange a mutually convenient time.
Sincere regards,
~Lady Arcana Arryn~

Friend Bartholomew,
I suppose that I would nay have to explain much in my parchment. But during my scribble I did think it fair to reinforce the ideal that the Government that is the Regency and the Holy Church of the Virtues are groups that are bound by foundation. I pray that in the times that we share, and through our agreements, conversations and understandings, this same relationship shall grow. Your Church's firm belief and reinforcement of the Virtues and those principles and acts surrounding them will no doubt be a factor in the growth and stabilization of the Regency. Or even still the unification (official or unofficial) of Light and Virtuous guilds. I understand if one still must individually consider those guilds that have sworn fealty to the Regent and the Spirit of the Regency, but as you know, tis a government built upon and filled with Virtue.
Yours In Service,
Rufus Oryan

My Dear Regent Rufus,
We at the Holy Church of the Virtues do not wish to question the Virtuous qualities of those guilds having pledged fealty to the Regency or to the Regent. It is not that we place ourselves above the Regency or any other body. The truth is that part and parcel of a Guild being of a Virtuous guidance goes beyond the requirements of a political body; no matter how pure the Virtues are in its formation. To continue on the Path of Light and to be Lightbringers for all, a guild must also find avenues to restore and reinforce their belief in the Virtues. This is something that the Holy Church of the Virtues can offer through services and counseling, as we have no politics to shade or color our devotion to the Virtues.
Further, my dear Regent, it has dismayed me in no small way that the Regent has seemed in his dealings to have turned from the truly lighted path of Virtue. As is stated in the Constitution of the Regency, far be it for me to remind the Regent of this document of Virtue, it states:
"In the presence of these individuals, I do solemnly and sincerely promise and declare that I will maintain the Constitution of Britannia and uphold its laws, that I will fulfill my duties faithfully and conscientiously in accordance with the Constitution and the law, and that I will dedicate my abilities to the service and welfare of the people of Britania. May Virtue direct and sustain me."
Of late it does seem that the Regent has strayed from being directed and sustained by Virtue to a path serving the ideal of Balance. By so doing the Regent has forsaken his oath of office and forsaken the peoples he has been deemed to lead and serve. It is due to this apparent variance from the narrowly defined path of the Virtues that we shall take it upon the Holy Church of the Virtues to weigh independent of the expediencies of politics to bestow titles of righteous Virtue.
In closing, I would welcome the return to the narrow path of light that is the Virtues of the Regency and would offer to work with the Regent towards this end. Until that time we still stand with the Regency at the Holy Church of the Virtues and pray that through cooperation we can right the Regent and his Regency to once again be a body solely consisting of Lightbringers.
With all due respect,
In Virtue,

Dear High Celebrant of Virtue,
I am certain I not only speak for myself but Her Grace, Grand Duchess Molly Willow that it would indeed be a pleasure to assist you in announcing that The House of the Gauntlet and in turn the body of the Royal Court of Light, Luna City is one hundered percent behind you and do indeed strive to follow the eight virtues of light. We look forward to speaking with you further.
May the guiding hand of virtue lead you to true light in body and mind,

Dearest Celebrant Bartholomew,
I am pleased to see the Virtues once again take a standing place in the realms. I have pledged my personal support and that of the Runic Knights to uphold and further the Virtues amongst the peoples of Sosaria and Yew. Fell free to contact me via my personal roost at 56313886 to arrange a suitable time for us to meet.
Respectfully,
Lilyth Noir
