LaBelle received the letter from his Lord Nazralte. She drummed her fingertips to the underside of her desk softly, moments passed...She thought to the weeks past, of great contemplations of a rising against these known as the Ebon Skull. When it all began, she knew of them only as a distant threat, perhaps even but a rumor of something that once was. Through weeks of revelation she was discovering their ominous presence, and her cautions grew stronger for the situations. Alliances were being made, friendships revived, hopes strengthened...These things all good, come with great hazards, and she feared the rapid pace with which they moved upon decisions.

She leaned back in her writing chair slightly, pondering moments of one to call on perhaps, to provide cautions, and pause to the efforts, to grant us reprieve from our immediate decisions that we might think longer, and more stiffly to the situation. She began this missive;

Milord Gromph,

I trust this letter to find you in good health and of
pleasant spirits.

I write to you now with request Milord...In
your presentations to us, Loyal, of the Lady
Oracle, this Lady heard hesitancy towards
a rising against these known as the Ebon skull.
Currently many who gather continue to contemplate
such movement. This Lady however dedicated
to the fall of this Ebon Skull for their atrocities,
remains hesitant. I implore you milord to bring
forth reason why we should, as a group stay
tentative. I trust you above all others to have
such deep and omniscient information's, with
regards to your past with this Skull. Please,
Milord bring such knowledge's forth to us Loyal,
that we might slow our decisions, for this Lady
fears a time of looming repercussion.

Milord, there is not glory to war, nor is it place to
prove oneself. These known as the Skulls, are
not ordinary fighters, not a usual battlement of men.
They are creators, of evils, and circumstances
arousing fear to the peoples. While we gather
alliances to an evident war, they set silent, continuing
in their rituals, and activities, appearing undaunted
anything we may bring upon them. This is my
cause for hesitancy. Have you words Milord with
which to bring a small level of abeyance, that is what
I ask of you.

The Loyalists still gather to the second day of each
week, by the hour nine to Serpents Hold. Have you
such words that may pause our contemplations,
please come, and share them.

Yours Faithfully,

Lady LaBelle

She sighed deeply, and rolled the small letter tightly, tucking it beneath a fold in her robe. She arrived to Skara Brae that eve, and hired a messenger boy. He took the gold she offered, and looked to her with the question, "Milady, to where do you want this delivered?" And she replied,
"To the Holy Church of the Virtues, child." Smiling softly, she watched his slow nod, bowing her head, she bid him a safe travel.
