Beowulf sat in his chair behind is desk, moving the last parchment he wrote out of the way and pulled another piece of parchment over before him. He leaned back a moment and thought to himself, slowly nodding he leaned forward and began to write.

Dear Ivae,

I wish to speak to you about your baby, it is time for another check up. I don' know if you have grown much more or not but we need to make sure. In the reply letter your going to send me, write down if you've gained pounds and if anything is worse or better.

I expect a letter within a couple of days atleast. I have sent with this letter a magical wisp. It is undetectable and you won' need to worry about people finding out about the baby, just yet atleast. I'll await your reply.

Sincerely,
Beowulf Thormear

*A stamp of the Dark Order crest and the Regulators crest is placed at the bottom of the letter.*

The curtains on the windows shimmered as something unseen passed through them, or so it seemed. Ivae sat at her desk, pouring over an old scroll, her crimson curls obscuring her face from view as she sighed. Something close to the crinkling of glass make her look up, and the small blue shimmers dancing before her dropped something on her desk and were gone.

Her hands were shaking as she broke the seal on the parchment. She did not know who it was from, but with the stamp of the Regulators there might be a fight she could once again not participate in.

Her emerald eyes scanned the letter, and a slight smile came across her lips. She was glad in some ways, and sad in others. Sighing deeply, she ran a thoughtful hand across her swollen stomach and then crafted her reply in long angled handwriting.

Dear Beo,

I do not think I have gained an ounce since we last saw each other, but the pain in my hips does grow with each day. It is tolerable at the moment, but I do not know how long it will remain such.

I cannot lie and say I am not scared, for in truth I am terrified. I hide it well from my husband, but it kills my soul to have to. I do not wish him worrying more than he already does.

Thank you for your decresion and kindness. You are truely a wonderful friend.

Liy ilyamenie -

Ivae Z'ress

Dripping red wax on the folded paper, she stamps it with the seal of Purus, and softly calls Mercia to her. The raven lands on her shoulder and takes the scroll, heading for Beowulf.
