Septis Comnenus sat on a wooden log deep in a forest west of Britain. He glanced at the dark blue crook which lay horizontally over his lap and smiled knowing that his work was just. For moments he watched the dull glow of the wooden crook before he kicked the dying flames of his camp fire out with sand from his damaged boots. Reaching into his robe he removed a well used piece of paper and reflected on the day that it was slipped under his door with a letter of instruction.
“Who ever you are ‘Mr.I’, you sure are putting me through a lot of trouble getting this crook blessed.” Septis glanced over the list as he donned a serious face. Names without faces to go with them, how impossible this mission was.

Legerion was the first he was instructed to find and it was not hard to track him down in Skara Brae from tips given to him by the anonymous 'Mr.I' in the letter of instruction. Septis spoke at length about his mission to the elf “I do this for Magincia, there are some that feel the path of pride has brought the past plague and sickness to our city. We must learn of Humility and it is my task to find blessing for this crook by those on my list”
Fortunate he was that Legerion was willing to provide the blessing and together with Angelique of Humanis as a witness which stumbled upon the scene the three of them ventured through a gate into Spiritwood where Septis watched Legerion hold the staff and chant the mantra “Om Om Om” to gain access to the shrine of Spirituality. Much to their surprise the angelic spirit Gabriel appeared before them and guided Legerion through the blessing.

Static electricity rippled through the air and stuck to Septis’ robe as Legerion returned the crook to the humble Magincian.
“If only I knew where to find the rest.” Septis said to them as he held the crook respectfully in both hands “Like that Martin Willard fellow”
Angelique and Legerion grinned and corrected the name for him. “He can be found in Trinsic sir, the city is just to the south of where we are” one of them said.
With a smile on his face Septis Comnenus held fast to the crook and thanked Legerion before walking towards Trinsic, it is there that he would spend two nights as he waited for the Trinsic Town Council to begin.

As luck would have it two names from his list were present at the Trinsic Town Council meeting. Septis once more spoke of the growing sentiment towards Humility in Magincia and reported on the quest given to him by the mysterious ‘Mr.I’
“This is for the virtues” he said as Martin and Savhanna nodded. Within minutes four of them found themselves at the shrine of Honor for Martin’s blessing.

Not soon after Martin Willow departed and Septis, Savhanna and a man in white belonging to the historian society entered Spiritwood through a gate. Septis gave Savhanna the crook and bowed in respect before both looked to the place the blessing would happen. Once more the familiar shrine of Spirituality would be used as Savhanna gave her blessing to the crook which she held in her hands.

It was then that the crook took on its dull blue glow, charged with the virtue of those that blessed it Septis held the object with reverence as he bade farewell to Savhanna and proceeded northward.

“Where can I find you LaBelle? Where are you Molly, Gub Gub, Lylith?” Septis stood up from the log and proceeded to wander north. It would be a long quest, this he knew. “But worth it in the end” he said and smiled as birds around him began their chirps and sing their songs.
