Dear LaBelle,
I have wanted to contact you quite some time to meet and discuss a few things. And after hearing word of recent events that have happened within the regency and at the last meeting. I find that I should delay no longer into contacting you.
It seems the regency is in chaos still and being controlled by certain council members instead of Lord Rufus. I have heard word of what you and a few others suggested in seeking out the Regulators to aid in a certain matter. Yet was turned down by the afore mentioned council members.
I would like to meet with you and discuss a good number of things. One of them being about the topic of discussion spoken at the last Regency meeting. I may not be alone though for other Regulator leaders may wish to come to meet with you as well. That is though, if you do agree in wanting to spare me some time to meet and speak to you.
I look forward to your reply.
*signed humbly yours*
Tarothin Armunn

LaBelle sat holding the letter in her hands. She shook her head gently, as she read through the words once more. Reaching into the box aside her writing table, she withdrew a sheet of ordinary parchment, one quill with which to write, and a small jar of black ink;
Milord Armunn,
I shall decline to acquiesce your request of meeting,
and shall trust this letter in my stead to suffice.
Perhaps you have come to perceive that I speak for
those Loyal to his Lord Regent, please to inform you,
that I do not. His Lord Regent has taken traverse,
having left none to a cabinet, nor a Loyalist sworn.
What decisions those who pledged Loyalty to his Lord
Regent come to, are, their own. Such decisions and
happenings I have not inclinations nor desires to
discuss with you, Milord.
As for the posture of this Regency, it is a group of
people, who have made the same pledge simply,
uniting and beginning to work on their own accords
in the current absence of the Regent and through
the current matter. What actions, decisions,
contemplations, and discussions we have, are
neither sanctioned nor execrated by his Lord Regent,
we act individually through these times, with not leader,
but with one another.
Milord, have you quarrel with what those presiding
to the past nights gathering concluded with regards
to your band-ment of Regulators, I would implore
you to seek their discourse in it’s entirety for such
explanations. For this Lady can only provide you
her own, which is this; To decline your assistance
in the matter at hand as Lord of these Regulators.
Not to be misunderstood that each guild beneath
your banner may wish to offer of their own accord
such assistance. This Lady would consider such offerings.
Again I speak not for the whole of those Loyalists
gathered Milord.
Forgive me, I trust this letter will provide you some
of that which you desired counsel on.
Sincerely Yours,
Lady LaBelle
She solemnly rolled the scroll, tucking it into her robe for a later delivery. She pondered the outcome of such a meeting with his Lord, the one they have called the Dark Knight. Tilting her head glancing over his letter once more, she quietly spoke, “ A haughty man...” Biting her lip gently, she slowly rolled the scroll from the Dark Knight, slipping it carefully into another fold of her robes. LaBelle bowed her head slightly, with a sigh, moments... before accending the small stairwell of her home. |

Lady LaBelle,
You must mistake the intentions of the meeting. As you see, there are regulators in the Regency. It is not a matter of who pledged to who. Yet at this time it seems do to the outcome of most meetings that it is not lord Rufus that they are pledged to but themselves. I was simply going to speak with you about the chaos that envelopes the realm. I had thought you a lady that was partial to Order and so wished to discuss with you merely on that topic.
Then let me ask you another thing then. If you wish not to speak with me. Would you then speak to someone of the Regulator's that you know well and trust? If so, then all you need do is seek out some of your fellow regency members. Lady Lia would be more then happy I am sure to discuss what I would have. Lady Ivae as well would I am sure. The Regulators are those that just come together in seeking order. Nothing more, and hence why anyone that follows order can join.
I am not certain fully your reasons for choosing not to just meet and have a word. But it is your choice.
Would you keep chaos within or try to bring order? And I am no lord of this. We are all one.

She had arrived home this night to a small gathering of parchments to her stoop. What once was the strand of twine tying them, laid upon the second step. As LaBelle reached to begin collecting the parchments, one took flight with the winds. She quickly scooped those remaining to her side, and went into her small dwelling. Sifting through them, looking for the one she desired... There was not letter from his Lord Regent amongst them. She laid them swiftly to her writing table, and hurried out the door in search of the drifting parchment, that may be those words she hopes for.
Moments passed before she returned empty handed. She set to the writing table to sift once more through the delivered pieces. Hesitating briefly to the letter from the Lord Armunn, she cast it aside. Twelve days would pass before she handled the parchment once more. On the thirteenth she wrote this reply;
Milord Armunn,
There is not Chaos within this Lady.
Nor desire to set and share discourse of
an Order you have propagated as your own.
Those members within your Regulators that I know,
so will continue to aquaint with, to trust, and to look
forward to relations shared.
Once more, respectively, I shall decline any such
meetings and discourse.
Sincerely Yours,
Lady LaBelle |

*chuckles at the womans words after reading it*
"I wasn't asking for a meeting with her again. Just said for her to talk to someone else. And it's not my order. It's all of ours and yet it seems people know too little about us still but to make that mistake."
*after thinking a moment*
"Bah, The Regency is more like an Undead. A hallow shell that still is animated yet lacks the life it once had."
*paces a bit in his study*
"More will see that if they do not already. But there is hope within the Regency that will help bring order to it. And because of that hope, aid be given regardless of what was voted on and the threat ...removed." |
