The two sat in the secluded office looking over the contents of the open box on the desk. A journal and two well aged scrolls.
"A hefty price you paid, wouldn't you say?"

"Nay" says the other, "The cost of silence must always be considered in doing business such as this. The power contained here will do us well... in time. When the time is right. When the time is right."

Gloved hands close the box with the contents sealed carefully inside. "Lock it in that chest over there. It will remain safe there until we are ready to use it against him."

With it locked safely away the two leave, locking the door behind them.
