Cuth sits at his desk in the Guildhall of the Jhelom Council of Valor and pens a letter.

Arlin,

I just recently heard of the unprovoked attack on your soldiers at the Abbey by the Orcs. I am writing to offer you assistance in the form of my limited resources and troops. I will be sending bandages and reagents for healing and curing to the Abbey as soon as I can to aid your wounded. I regret I will not be able to make this delivery myself, but I am sending my most trustworthy men. If needed, I shall have the troops remain at the Abbey until the orc threat is over. Let me know if I can be of help in any other way.

Arlin tended to his garden, overlooking the Yew Bay. A messenger arrived with a scroll, and with a quiet sigh, Arlin dragged himself downstairs to accept the message. A letter from Cuthbert, offering assisstance and aid. He grinned after reading the letter.

Cuthbert, much like Arlin, seemed like a man of action. A good friend and a powerful ally he would make. He sat down and took the time to reply, before handing it back to the messenger to return it to Cuthbert.

Yer offer of medical aid would be accepted with much thanks. We 'ave just opened a new hospital within the Abbey, and I will gladly meet ya to git these supplies. As fer yer offer of troops, I cannot rightly take them away from guardin' yer own city. With these orcs now raiding into Trammel itself, who knows where they could attack next?

Also, I would like ta discuss a formal alliance between my city and yers. I is sure it could benefit us both. Untill our paths cross again.
