Blue clad warriors moved swiftly through the dimly lit woods of Yew. Armor clanked and soft leather creaked as they moved wordlessly, staying in tight formation as thier officers lead them to thier positions on the outskirts of Yew.
The swamplife of the town was replaced by splashing water, as the disciplined ranks of the Army of the Frontier converged on the city. Soldiers entered the Empath Abbey, as the monks scrambled downstairs in a fuss. After speaking with the officer in charge, they retired to thier rooms again, wary. The troops returned to the work, nailing up recruiting banners and notifications of town ownership.
Another squad moved through the Court of Truth. The boards were removed from the windows, and the Court was cleaned up. Any trace the Dark Awakening had been there was gone.
Finally, a third squad converged on the town center. Led by none other then the Captain himself, they moved through the swampy streets, knocking on doors and informing residents of the change of ownership. Many seem relieved, some shocked, and a handful outright angry. Arlin didnt let it deter him however, as runners and scouts came from all sides.
Without a hitch, and nary a hint of resistance (minus a drunken sailor who thought he could take on three soldiers at once). The sun slowly crept up the horizon, as a new day dawned on the City of Justice. Arlin watched it, his arms folded across his broad chest. His Lieutenant, Flik, approached him from behind, questioning "What of the Council of Yew Captain?". Arlin snorted in reply.
"They ain't gonna bother meh, Ill keep 'em around fer chuckles. 'ave Sergeant Kharen draw up some defensive plans fer the city. An' git some patrol routes scouted. Ain't gonna have no sneaks in mah city" Flik nodded and saluted, and scurried off quickly, barking out orders as he did.
Arlin bent down and picked up a fallen flyer. He smiled as he read it.
"On this day, August the Tenth, in the Year of our King
The Army of the Frontier hereby claims the City of Yew, and all her lands and holdings, as thier own. The Army claims all responsibility for the city, including defense and economy. All members of all races are welcomed within her boundries, but the welcome may be retracted at any time should the laws of the land not be respected. A meeting, the time and date to be announced, will be held to discuss the laws to be enacted by the Army. All are welcome."
Signed
Captain Arlin

**Unity sat with Mott off in the distance talking quite loud considering they were both being abnoxious twords the whole situation.**
Mott spoke up first asking Unity "Shouldn't I be prepairing our men to come and observe, waiting untill they tire out then send in the forced to wipe these fools out last and for all?"
Unity laughed slightly "No, Mott. Dont you see? I never even cared about the court, It is useless to us. We truely need to focus our thoughts on our true goals to come anyways. This was all just to stir up the evolutionairy cycle."
Mott looked puzzled "How do you figure on that?"
Unity looked up sternly "It is simple, yew evolution, we will let AoF fight it out with Yew Town Council, when they are weak in numebrs we will come back and strike at the most crutial moment. Its simple really, you will see."
Mott looked even more puzzled "Are you sure that will work, sir?"
Unity spoke one last time on this subject "Do you question my judgement, Mott? I surely hope not."
Unity turned on his right heal and walked off into the shadows keeping his eyes wide open watching the men do the work on the area around the court of truth. "You are a bunch of fools. Im moreso impressed with your ignorance you feeble minded half ogre, you dont even see you have just started the begining of your end.. Once and for all.." Unity spoke out talking to himself as he vanished into the shadows of the night. _________________ Unity, Scholar of Diligence, Control, and Passion
