Tatiana sat on Hummers lap on the roof of Poets Garden. The couple were talking about a decision that must be made. A few minutes earlier Ivae and Naz left them, they had spent a while talking and laughing in the tavern. Ivae had grown tired and had to head home, Naz of course escorted her.

Hummers eyes watched Draven as he walked across the room and took a seat.

"Just one, he's just drinking an ale no need to fret." Hummer thought to himself. The room was full of Frontier soldiers, The Ebon Skull wouldn't be so foolish as to try to harm Tati here. Hummer finished his thought and watched The Ebon Skulls poor up to the roof top, slaves following them.

Tati screamed and ran to hide behind the bar. Darrien shouting orders and took chase with the rest of the skulls. Hummer sprinted across the room and slid across the bar table, standing between Tati and one of the Ebon Soldiers. He was surrounded, the soldiers of the frontier began to circle The Skulls.

Casting a gate to his house Hummer dragged Tati through. He pulled Tati across the lawn, she was in shock, fear over powered her. Darrien and a few others piled on to his lawn, some of the frontier men made it through the gate, but not all of them.

Hummer growled and cursed at the men, offending one of them enough that he started casting at Hummer. An explosion hit him followed by a blast to his mind, shaking his head he healed himself. At that moment everyone of The Ebon Skulls attacked him, fighting furociously he repeatedly healed himself. A full scale battle had errupted on his front lawn. Tati rushed off into the house, two of the frontier soldiers ran after her to protect her.

After Hummer and the frontier soldiers were defeated The Ebon Skull captured Tati. One slave stayed behind and told Hummer where they had taken her. With out a second thought he rushed off, he wasn't sure if anger or hate had taken control of him.

Hummer arrived at the place where Tati was being held. Darrien walked out side to welcome him, Hummer welcomed Darrien by cursing him. Darrien informed Hummer that he would have Tatiana killed if he was harmed. Darrien ordered him to give up his regents and armor to go see Tati, Hummer did this willingly.

Upon entering the room where Tati and another man were in a ceil Hummer looked around and noticed a few other soldiers and slaves.

"Just one kiss dear and he walks free." The man spoke to Tati. Tatiana felt she had no other choice to save Hummer and stood still. The man kissed Tati and stepped back. Hummer broke through the cage door and threw the man against the wall, he was attacked by Darrien and another man. Just before he fell to the ground he heard one of the slaves say something shocking.

"To hell with The Ebon Skull!" Ultima yelled, he threw down his slave robe and was quickly killed by a wave of spells.

Hummer soon found himself at the garden, he wasn't exactly sure how he got there but he was there. He watched a blue gate appear and Tatiana stepped through, he ran over to her and quickly untied her. Letting Tati collapse into his arms he apologized for letting The Skulls get their hands on her.

"I didn't want to kiss him Hummer, he kissed me. I didn't want to see you hurt." Tati began to sob. He calmed her down by telling her everything was alright. He kissed her on the forehead and took her home to bed.

Later on that evening Hummer returned home from hunting with Sir Matty. He had exchanged words with Ultima at the garden, the news that Ultima had told him was quite odd. His eyes followed his stairs straight up into the hollow black eyes of his dark guards.

Hummer strood determindly up the stairs and lifted the dark guards off the ground by their throats. His eyes glowing dark red he spoke to the guards in a deep calm voice.

"If you ever let anyone inside this house that is not a direct friend of mine, I will finish your lives." Hummer dropped them and headed to his office. He fell in his seat and thought to himself. He couldn't understand why The Ebon Skull had been stirring up so much trouble with him, or anyone else for that matter.

"Perhaps Vahns rambleing of a Dark Alliance isn't so crazy." he thought to himself. He shook his head and sighed, leaning back in the chair he closed his eyes and dozed off.
